Sophie Shand has a recognisable graphic design style and vision.
Together we worked on defining systems and structures for her content, so she could easily and flexibly create, arrange, modify and manage all the different parts of her portfolio website without ever touching a bit of code.
The precision and the uniqueness of Sophie’s design for her website called for a highly personalised front-end development, with a custom-made grid and typography classes for example. Several subtle SVG animations and quirky loaders have been carefully put into place to make the website come alive even more and to add to user delight.
The CMS of choice is WordPress, allowing us to turn her existing blog into a multilingual portfolio website using the WPML plugin. This configuration allows Sophie to easily translate her content and images into French, all within the back-office of WordPress.
