SAABRE, a web development company from Strasbourg that focusses on services for the green-minded driver, contacted me for the Dutch adaptation of their ChargeMap application for Android and IOs.
Everything was processsed through the Transifex Localization Platform, allowing me to translate without having to touch (barely) any code and to safely update my translations. I used Google’s Translator Toolkit for Computer Assisted Translation (CAT) and for ease of sharing the translation with my proofreader.
Once the proofreader approved my translations, the developers at SAABRE sent me a version of the app with the localisations in place to test and appoint the final corrections.
This project required me to be very meticulous with regards to the technical terms of the different kinds of electric charges and currents.
